Provecho, Perú is a private vegan culinary experience where you’ll enjoy iconic Peruvian dishes reimagined using 100% plant-based ingredients.
The flavors remain authentic because the cooks are Peruvian—sabrosos chefs who know exactly how Peruvian food should taste. Each dish is prepared with respect for tradition, while adapting techniques and ingredients to a vegan approach.
As you taste each plate, you’ll receive:
A brief historical and cultural introduction to the dish
A technical explanation of how it’s traditionally prepared
An explanation of how it’s been transformed into a plant-based version

Do I need to be a Llamacademy student to join this experience?
No, you don’t need to be a Llamacademy student to join this experience. This is a standalone cultural experience, completely separate from our Spanish classes. However, current Llamacademy students enjoy a 15% discount as a special benefit.
Is this a Spanish class?
No. This is not a language class. The experience focuses on cultural storytelling and a guided tasting of traditional Peruvian dishes. Optional Spanish conversation is available at no extra cost.
What language is the experience conducted in?
The main experience is conducted in English. Optional Spanish conversation practice with native guides is included at no extra cost.
Is prior knowledge of Spanish required?
No. No Spanish knowledge is required to enjoy the experience.
Who is this experience designed for?
Provecho, Perú is designed exclusively for international English-speaking visitors. This experience (Llamacademy in collaboration with the partner restaurant) is not available to local residents or Spanish-speaking visitors in general.

This is a private experience for small groups only, with up to 3 or 4 participants per group.
Is transportation included?
Yes. Private transportation from and back to Miraflores or at your accommodation is fully included in the price (prior coordination required).

The experience takes place in a private venue in Lima approximately 10 minutes from the center of Miraflores by private transport. The exact location is shared after booking confirmation.

The experience is all-inclusive, covering ingredients, live dish preparation by the partner restaurant staff, the tasting, cultural storytelling, and private transportation. Llamacademy guarantees you a safe experience in a private and intimate space. Spanish conversation is also included, but optional. There are no hidden costs.
